Our hearts go out to all the victims, friends and families affected by the senseless shooting in Aurora, Colorado yesterday.  It’s hard to understand the reason why tragedies like this happen.  Sometimes there is no answer to the question, “Why?”  Could it be a wake-up call to all of us to ‘cease the day’ or ‘live each day like it’s your last’ or ‘hold our loved ones closer’?  I’d hate to think that 71 victims had to suffer for us to be reminded that life is precious.  Regardless, ‘it is what it is’ and acceptance is the first and most difficult step.  Music can be therapeutic when we’re wrestling with the big issues in life.  The lyrics in “The Heart of Life” by John Mayer give us hope at this time by remembering that LOVE can turn the whole thing around …
